The Situation

LOL It's not actually too hard to do. Much easier than Baba Yetu because I don't have to worry about a story or anything... I'm in the process of making it look pretty at the moment. This is an estimation BUT. I may have it uploaded by tomorrow... As long as Mary and Chyree's videos download ok.

If not then MONDAY at the latest. I don't want to visit my dad's house over the weekend while he's not at work, he's being a bit nasty lately so I'm trying to keep out of his way XD

Sadie, Monday would be fine. Considering that we've already waited quite some time, I don't think another half a week will make much a difference. I totally figured out how to do mutiple videos on the screen. It really is easy. I feel like such a dork for trying so many different ways before just looking at a tutorial.

It might have to be Monday anyway... I have a problem.

I tried to render the video so I could watch it without my laptop lagging... And it keeps sticking at 42%. I asked my friend SeeraAi who makes AMV's and she said it's low RAM or something. SO I need to cut the whole project up, render it in little bits, then put all the little bits into a new project file and render those together to make the complete video. What a pain in the bum! On the other hand, the video is finished apart from the two I need.

I found my files and am re-uploading them to mediafire now!

Ok great! I really need the links kind of afternoonish my time so if you can send me them while you're at work? I need to get to my dad's house before he's home from work, don't fancy bumping into him... My father's day card to him was nowhere to be seen when I was there yesetrday... Not even in the drawer where we keep old cards... What a jerk, honestly. As soon as I can, all the things I own are coming out of that house and I doubt I'll have much else to do with him after that... Sorry to rant ha! He's just such a selfish idiot!

Sorry to hear that about your Dad Sadie. I've had issues with mine my entire life. I just pretty much avoid him which can be difficult since he lives like a block from me, but they are moving. Anyway. I was having RAM issues because I had too much crap on my computer, so I went and cleaned out my harddrive and I was able to do whatever I wanted in Vegas no problem. My issues was all the movies I had stored on my computer. I had to transfer then to external memory like flash drives and CD's.

Yeah my dad is just a very selfish man, I can't even be around him without feeling like I need to make a comment about it so I've just been avoiding him. I'm very lucky to have such a wonderful step-mother, she's not even with my dad any more and I'm living with her rent-free. She's amazing! Anyway, Chyree got her links to me on time but unfortunately I went food shopping and by the time I got back it was too late for me to go and download the videos... Tomorrow I'll go to McDonalds for an icecream and use their WiFi and download them then hhahah!

I'm beginning to get nervous about this video! I think it looks nice. But it's quite simple.... I think with so many videos, anything too busy would just look too much. So I kept it pretty simple. It looks quite beautiful though and there's subtle details I've paid attention to, to try and make it really pretty... I hope it's everything you all hoped for! I'm so sorry if it's not. Argh. Anyway. At least we'll have a video on our channel by Monday! That's something!

I love my Mom, so she makes up for my Dad. I am worried about the baby though, I don't know if I want him to know the baby or not. I suppose I'll have to figure that out as I go.

Don't worry about the video Sadie. I know it will be great. No one is expecting miracles, but just having it finished and up will make all the difference. You will need to change who made the video on the info I sent you. I didn't change it before I sent it to you. Make sure to give yourself credit! You deserve it for stepping up to do this for everyone. We are all so grateful!

Did you get the e-mail I sent you with the pictures in it? I don't know if you can use any of them, but I figured I would send you updated ones none the less.

Awh that must be a tough decision, Beth. Just do what's best for your baby. I doubt my dad would show an interest if I had children, so I wouldn't have that to worry about! He's far too selfish to want to spend time doing anything that isn't for himself!

And doing the video's been no trouble at all! I've enjoyed doing it. It's really not taken long at all so don't worry! I've not gone out of my way to do some amazing thing for everybody, we just need the song on youtube and I'm happy to help.

I'm actually excited for it to be up! I love checking all the comments we get! ARGH! *dances* Bring on the subs! You know, these live videos can often do very well. If we promote this in the right way, we could have significant success from it. Trudbol from Harmonium mentioned some sites he pots his stuff on, and he does this kind of video so I'll ask him about those.

The video is finished. Completely rendered, and ready to go. I shall shower, eat, do housework etc. Then in a few hours I'll go to my Dad's (urgh) and upload it. It will go public this evening (UK evening!)

I'm so sorry. I made a mistake =[ I'm uploading it anyway because it took all night and all day to render all the parts together... I feel so bad. But I set my alarm in the night to render the next part and everything, I really can't fix it now... Ania's video kind of jumps at one part. I must have had the video in the wrong spot when I was cropping her video, I wondered why she went from being really small to being the right size... The thing is, when the project is so full of files, you can't watch it to see how it looks... It lags like crazy so I couldn't find what was wrong. ARGH! I could kick myself. I'm so so sorry. Anyway it's uploading now. I'll make it public as soon as it's processed. I could cry. HA! =[
